The TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Peltier Cooling Module is a solid-state semiconductor cooling device that operates using the Peltier effect. When powered with DC voltage, one surface absorbs heat and becomes cold while the opposite surface dissipates heat and becomes hot. This compact, vibration-free cooling solution is widely used in DIY electronics, laboratory equipment, portable coolers, laser systems and temperature control applications.
