Description
The PCA9685 controller provides 16 individual 12-bit PWM channels with 4096-step resolution. Communication is handled through SDA and SCL I²C lines, reducing the number of controller I/O pins required for multi-channel PWM control.
For servo applications, the board provides dedicated three-pin channel headers marked PWM, V+ and GND, along with a separate screw-terminal connection for the external servo supply. Six hardware address inputs allow multiple PCA9685 devices to share the same I²C bus.
