The ESP8266 ESP-01 WiFi Module is a compact and cost-effective wireless communication module based on the Espressif ESP8266 SoC, providing 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity for embedded systems and IoT applications. It can operate as both a Wi-Fi client and access point, making it suitable for remote monitoring, wireless control and internet-connected devices.
The ESP-01 features GPIO pins, UART communication, onboard flash memory and support for AT commands, Arduino IDE, ESP8266 SDK, MicroPython and Lua firmware. Its small size and low power consumption make it ideal for smart home automation, robotics, wireless sensor networks, industrial monitoring and DIY electronics.
