Product Overview

The Cabinet Light Switch Wardrobe Door Switch is an automatic push-button switch designed to control cabinet, wardrobe, closet, and cupboard lighting. Compatible with both low-voltage LED systems and standard 220V household power, it automatically turns lights ON when the door opens and OFF when the door closes.

Description

The Cabinet Light Switch Wardrobe Door Switch 12V-220V is a compact and reliable automatic lighting control solution for wardrobes, cabinets, cupboards, closets, drawers, and furniture lighting applications. Designed with a self-resetting spring-loaded push mechanism, the switch automatically controls connected lights based on door movement.

When the cabinet or wardrobe door is opened, the switch is released, turning the connected light ON. When the door closes, the actuator is pressed, switching the light OFF automatically. This convenient operation improves user experience while helping reduce unnecessary power consumption.

Supporting both low-voltage LED lighting systems and standard AC household circuits, the switch is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial, and furniture lighting installations.

Its compact design allows discreet installation inside cabinets and wardrobes, maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The durable thermoplastic housing provides long-lasting performance and reliable switching operation for everyday use.

How It Works

The switch is mounted inside a wardrobe, cabinet, or cupboard frame where the door physically interacts with the push actuator.

Door Closed:

  • The door presses the switch actuator.
  • The electrical circuit opens or closes depending on wiring configuration.
  • The connected light turns OFF.

Door Opened:

  • The actuator is released.
  • The switch changes state.
  • The connected light turns ON automatically.

This simple mechanism eliminates the need for manual light switches and provides convenient automatic illumination whenever the cabinet door is opened.
